Users may wish to set a static drive letter for a project. The reasons for this may be that an application requires full static paths to the file, or that the user would like to have direct access rather than changing projects in the bar when required.

To set a project as a static drive letter, first change to the project you'd like to map. Next click on the "More" button.

From the selection pane

The window that opens will allow you to select the drive letter required. This selection does not have to be the same as other users, but some applications may require this to be the same.

After making the selection, the project will appear in file explorer

Remove Project Map

Remove the map if needed by using the project bar and selecting the project in question. Next, select the more dropdown and then "remove project map"

The remove option will only be available if the project has already been mapped.
