ANTI-VIRUS SETTINGS:
Once installed, it is important to set exclusions in your Anti-Virus software
- K: (and any mapped drives)
- Cache (\users\****\AppData\local\Kenesto)
- Kenesto.Drive.Manager.exe (in windows defender and others this needs to be listed as a process and not a file)
- Defrag (ignore K:)
Every anti-virus application is different, and settings may need to be tailored to your specific product.
We are aware that some Antivirus programs are increasingly working on behavior rather than scripts. If you run into any issues, please contact support@kenesto.com
Please notify your IT department / subcontractor / contact if you are not able to install or upgrade the application. You may need them to whitelist Kenesto.drive.manager.exe, upgrade.exe and updatedrivecore.exe to allow seamless updates. These applications are located in C:\Program Files\Kenesto\Kenesto Drive
Please note that Kenesto does not support consumer-grade applications from McAfee as they do not allow exclusions of folders.
